Tim Weed‘s English ancestors arrived in New England in the Great Migration of the 1630s. He also has American Indian ancestors, and curiosity about both groups is what led him back to the 17th century. Tim’s fiction has been shortlisted for several international writing awards, and his articles on travel and outdoor adventure have appeared in many national magazines. From his home near the Connecticut River in southern Vermont Tim teaches in an MFA writing program and frequently leads cultural and writing programs abroad. Will Poole’s Island is his first novel.
